2020

In May of 2020, I was the lead designer who redesigned the VitalHub company website. I was responsible for developing marketing material, updating the branding, and bringing visual content up to date. I worked for a 2 month period to design and develop the website in Squarespace.

Defining the Problem

The old VitalHub website was very cluttered and difficult to navigate. Users would often get lost on the site and would find it challenging to find product information. The menu navigation was confusing and the site carried a lot of inconsistencies, from colours, fonts, buttons, and content alignment. The previous website was also hosted on WordPress. The company wanted a new site on Squarespace so that the marketing team would be able to better manage the site.

Solution

Redesign the website in Squarespace. Improve the menu navigation, create a mega menu, update the branding, improve consistency and overall visual design.

Process

I started by sketching out the navigation for the new mega menu. This helped to lay the foundation for the structure of the site. I then started to design the homepage in XD. Once we had a new and refined look and feel I started to build the remaining web pages in Squarespace.

Marketing Collateral

Once the company branding had been updated and the website was live, I designed this infographic using Illustrator to highlight the companies Patient Flow & Operational Visibility solutions. This was used on the Patient Flow section of their website and was also used throughout more of their marketing material.
